Cette subvention a \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9e dans le cadre d&#8217;un Concours de subventions d&#8217;\u00e9quipe (pr\u00e9vention primaire et secondaire du cancer) de Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD).<\/p>\n<p>Le cancer du foie est tr\u00e8s r\u00e9pandu en Tha\u00eflande, en particulier une forme appel\u00e9e cholangiocarcinome (CCA). Depuis plus de 20 ans, le cancer du foie est la principale cause de d\u00e9c\u00e8s chez les Tha\u00eflandais avec plus de 15 000 personnes qui meurent chaque ann\u00e9e de cette maladie. L&#8217;infection par un type de parasite appel\u00e9 douves est l&#8217;un des principaux facteurs contribuant au CCA.
